Website Design & Development

Custom web applications built around how your business works

When spreadsheets and off-the-shelf software no longer fit, a custom web application can. I build portals, dashboards, booking and quoting tools and internal systems on Laravel, with Vue or React where the interface needs it.

Signs you need one

Teams copying data between spreadsheets, clients emailing for updates you could show them online, booking or quoting done by hand, or software that forces your process to fit it rather than the other way round. A focused web application can remove hours of manual work every week.

What I build

  • Client portals where customers see orders, documents, progress or invoices
  • Booking and quoting systems with your own rules and pricing
  • Dashboards that pull data from several tools into one view
  • Internal tools that replace spreadsheets and email chains
  • APIs and integrations connecting payments, CRMs, email and accounting software

Technology

Laravel handles the data, business rules, security and integrations. Most interfaces are built with Livewire or Blade and Alpine.js; where a screen needs to behave like a desktop app, I use Vue or React through Inertia. The choice is made for maintainability, not fashion. More on the framework in Laravel development.

Built to be trusted

Business systems hold sensitive data, so they get role-based permissions, validated input, audit logs of important actions, backups and the security practices in website security and maintenance.

Start small

The most successful projects start with the one workflow that hurts most, prove the value, then grow. Book a call and we can map out what that first version would be.

How it works

  1. Process mapping and requirements

  2. Clickable prototype

  3. Build in reviewed stages

FAQ

Questions about Custom Web Applications

How do you keep the cost under control?
By starting with the smallest version that solves the main problem, getting it into real use, and adding features based on what users actually need. A clickable prototype before building also catches misunderstandings early.
Who owns the code?
You do. The code, database and hosting accounts are yours, documented so another developer could pick it up if needed.
